We are looking for an experienced DPO to work on board a DP3 Pipe-Lay/ Construction vessel currently operating in Mexico.
The DPO will report directly to the Chief Officer / Vessel Master.

• Rotation: 6 WKS on/ 6 WKS off
• Mobilization: 20.02.2020
• Day Rate: 405.00 USD

Experience Required

• At least 2 years' experience in the rank of offshore DPO on-board large offshore construction / Pipe-lay vessels is necessary for this role.
• Must have Kongsberg DP Vessel experience or Similar vessel experience to the Telford Vessels.
• Ensuring all navigational charts and publications are corrected and up. Order replacements in conjunction with Chief Officer when required.
• Maintenance of firefighting and lifesaving appliances as directed by the Chief Officer if required.
• General bridge and deck routines.
• Watch keeper on conventional watches.

• Clear and effective oral and written communications skills in English language.
• Experience with the electronic equipment onboard assigned vessel.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of principle discipline and peripheral subjects.
• Strong coordination, organisation and liaison skills with the ability to seek and gain consensus solutions to complex issues.
• Total commitment to carrying out safe working practices.
