Fleet Manager (Marine) – Permanent – South Coast, UK – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable shipping company based on the South Coast

As Fleet Manager, you will be a key member of the management team and provide support and leadership to line management and ships crew regarding all aspects of vessel performance.

Responsibilities include:

• Responsible for shaping, developing and delivering strategy
• Managing vessel compliance against classification societies and MCA requirements
• Lead the maintenance strategy
• Fulfil the duties of Deputy DPA
• Manage the technical department including Superintendents
• Take personal ownership for delivering compliance and the vision of “zero harm”

Experience Required:

• Hold a class one Chief Engineer Unlimited license
• Experience managing a technical team
• Experience managing complex dry docking projects
• Be familiar with electronic planned maintenance systems
• Must have right to live and work in the UK
