Ships Doctor (Expedition) – Worldwide – German Speaking

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional Ships Doctor to join our client’s expanding fleet of Expedition Vessels on a permanent basis.

We are looking for the right individual to strengthen and complement their team on board. For this role you must be able to speak Fluent German

The General Requirements:

• Permission/ admission as general practitioner and/ or Internist
• Fluent in both German speaking and writing.
• Certificate of Specialist Training in emergency medicine
• Certificate of Specialist Training in proficiency of radio protection
• Beneficial is an active work in emergency medical aid / providing the CPR (cardiopulmonary reanimation – not older than 2 years)
• Very good English language skills – manuals/ working instructions might be in English ; communication with authorities and in case of need with other doctors in the called ports might be in English language as well as medical reports/ statements are in English language
• Certificates in accordance to the STCW convention (Basic Safety Training, Crowd Management Training, Ship Security Training/ Security Awareness)
