Health and Safety Manager (Ports) – Permanent – Kent – Excellent Package

This is an excellent opportunity to join a leading port operator and take control of your own workload.

The Health, Safety and Wellbeing Manager will be responsible for providing professional H&S advice and support to the organisation, ensuring compliance with ISO45001 for H&S management systems. You will work with the Head of Health, Safety and Wellbeing to deliver and promote the organisation’s culture.

The role is largely autonomous. Therefore, the ideal candidate will be highly organised, manage their time well and communicate effectively. They will need to pay close attention to detail to ensure accuracy of work, whilst displaying a degree of flexibility and adaptability in their attitude to work and in problem solving.

The successful candidate will have:

• Degree in Occupational H&S
• Membership of IOSH or equivalent
• CSCS card holder
• NEBOSH Diploma
• Internal auditor qualification
• CDM awareness
• Experience in a construction and/or marine environment
