Electro Technician Officer

Contract Length: 3 months +

Rate: Negotiable
Location: Singapore
Additional: Flights, lodge and expenses paid for work away from home

An opening has arisen for a number of Marine Electro Technical Officers to work on cargo and chemical containers in Europe and Asia. The ideal candidate will be familiar with Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems (EGCS), served a technical apprenticeship and come from a marine background.

Day to day duties include:

• Responsible for system installation, commissioning and general maintenance for Exhaust Gas Cleaning Systems
• Knowledge of Temperature, pressure and flow transmitters, automatic control equipment, pneumatic actuators, programmable logic controllers, water gas analysis and flue
• Working with exhaust gas cleaning scrubber and equipment and on board vessel control systems
• Carrying out fault investigation, defect repair, calibration and overhaul of electrical, pneumatic and electronic equipment
• Carrying out repairs on electric motors, pneumatic control valves and electronic transmitters
• Reading and understand pipe and instrument diagrams, electrical diagrams and connection drawings
• Preparing and reports and recommendations of all completed works and necessary repairs/modifications required during repair periods

The successful candidate MUST have:

• Recognised apprenticeship/education within the electrical field of works
• Control and automation experience
• UK Passport
