VTS Operations Manager (Ports) – South East – Permanent – Competitive Salary

An opportunity has arisen with a leading port operator for a VTS Operations Manager to join and lead their busy team.

You will support the Harbour Master in maintaining navigational safety within the port in accordance with the requirements of the Port Marine Safety Code by ensuring the overall effective operational management of VTS and delivery of VTS services.

The succesful applicant will ideally hold V103/1 (VTS Operator) and V103/2 (VTS Supervisor) certificates or senior STCW qualification. They will have significant experience as an operational VTSO with in depth knowledge of VTS operations and the legal framework and guidelines for VTS, preferably in a supervisory capacity.

Alternatively, those with high levels of people and port management experience will be considered.
