Senior Market Research Analyst (Dry Bulk) – France – Permanent

I am currently working with a leading shipbroker who are looking for a Senior Market Research Analyst to join the Dry Bulk desk based in France.

As the Senior Market Research Analyst your role will be to primarily support the ship broking business, providing invaluable analysis of the shipping and Dry Bulk markets, as well as the global and local events that help shape them.

The Seniors Market Research Analyst’s day to day responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Gathering, processing, and analysing data from a large number of sources,
• Sophisticated modelling of supply and demand developments,
• Production of reports with both a short and long-term focus,
• Generating and distributing daily reports for clients,
• Briefing brokers on market developments,
• Researching and presenting bespoke findings to clients,
• Addressing conferences and satisfying the research needs of many stakeholders.

To qualify for this role as a Senior Market Research Analyst you will need to have worked in a similar role for roughly 3 years within the Dry Bulk market. You will have a proactive approach to data and information management and a keen eye for the small details. From your previous experience you will be technically proficient in excel to a high standard, as well as this knowledge of either Microsoft Power BI, SQL, VBA is a strong advantage.
