A leading name in the marine engineering sector is currently looking for a fully qualified mechanical engineer to join their their busy team in Jersey who specialise in inboard and outboard engines,commercial vessels and auxilliary equipment.

The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a busy successful team on a variety of different makes and models of marine inboard and outboard engines,commercial vessels and auxiliary equipment. The role will entail the carrying out of servicing and repairs to petrol and diesel engines, transmissions,outdrives and outboards, diagnostics,electrical repairs,hoisting and trailering vessels, offering main dealer training with brands such as Mariner,Doosan,Hyundai and Seasall.

If you come from a background where you have a least 3 years experience working as a mechanical engineer in the marine sector this is your opportunity to join a truly progressive company with the scope for personal development. You will also be expected to have a comprehensive set of tools although specialist tooling is supplied. Applicants must be self motivated, work on their own initiative and as part of a succesul friendly team. Experience in bost handling would be an advantage but not essential.
