Technical Superintendent – Passenger

I am working with a leading company who have seen great growth over the past years and are now seeking a Yacht / Technical Manager to join there team. In the role you will be the main point of contact for your fleet with the company as well owners and third party contacts.

Duties

• Key point of contact for your fleet of vessels
• You will be in collaboration with other departments within the business in crewing, accountancy, safety and security
• Participation in the Emergency Response Team
• Prepare monthly management reports
• Assisting to obtain new management business and cross-selling all Burgess services

You will have the following attributes:

• Sea-going experience as Captain or Chief Engineer
• Working in a shore based role would be beneficial as an Superintendent or similar
• Confident in communicating to all levels of the business as well as third parties
• Effective problem solving and multi-tasking
• Knowledge of ISM, ISPS and MLC. Previous auditing or surveying experience desirable
• Technical knowledge of passenger vessels
• Fluent in spoken and written English

You will need the right to live and work in the EU and you will be open to relocating to the office.
