Vessel Manager (FSRU) – Permanent - London – Competitive Salary
A leading LNG shipping company with a global presence is recruiting for a Vessel Manager to join the specialist FSRU team in London.
Reporting to the Fleet Manager, this role is to provide support on the Company management systems and safe operating practices monitoring compliance.
Other duties will include;
- Reviewing monthly OPEX costs against budget to date and report on deviations.
- Anticipating and driving Safe and Flawless Performance of assigned vessels' operational requirements (dry-docks, vessel budgets, scheduled and unscheduled maintenance repairs etc).
- Providing technical and operational support and guidance to assigned vessels.
- Coaching and developing Masters, Chief Engineers and direct reports ashore.
- Acting as the primary contact for commercial and voyage coordination for assigned vessels.
- Regularly monitoring vessel planned maintenance and ensure planning maintained.
- Analysing the nature and root cause of any serious breakdown or damages.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the propulsion plant and technical operations on-board FSRU’s.
You will have extensive experience within the LNG industry, have an industry related degree and have a proven track record in a similar position ashore.
Sailing experience in a senior capacity on-board LNG vessels is essential.
You will also be a team player, have excellent commercial acumen and have a good communication skills.

Work Experience Requirements
All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
