Electrical Superintendent – Cruise

Exciting new role for a cruise line company due to growth are now seeking an Electrical Superintendent to join the team.

The role, you will ensure safe economic electro-technical operation of vessels concerning the nautical, technical and hotel department in line with international rules and regulations and company standards.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• You will plan schedule for work in dry docks concerning electrical and also making sure that any change is done in a timely manner
• Work closely with the Technical Superintendent making sure that the vessel is compliant with SOLAS, USCG
• There will be travel to the vessel for any inspections, problems
• To speak with the new build department and assist in the inspections for the vessels
• Will need budgeting experience
• Be able to communicate to all levels of the business

For the position, the client is seeking the following:

• To hold a masters/bachelors degree in electrical/electronic engineering
• Worked ashore before in a similar position
• Have good communication skills and also to show that you can lead a small team
• Sailed in the position of Chief Electrical
• Must have the right to live and work in the USA
