Job Description as Learning & Development Coordinator with Stork:

This role will be reporting to the Learning & Development Advisor for the UK region.  This is an integral role to help ensure that the annual L&D plan is supported and delivered on time, in budget and to the quality the business expects.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Learning & Development Coordinator:

The main tasks of the role are:

  • Administrator for Appraisal system.
  • Responsible for training of new employees on appraisal system.
  • Corporate Liaison for annual appraisal system.
  • Course co-ordination and setup for Global Leadership programme.  This will include communication with candidates, travel & accommodation booking where required and liaising with the training providers.
  • Organisation of local L&D programmes such as; Supervisor training, Management Development Programme, Project Management Competition.
  • Co-ordination of Graduate recruitment and assessment centre planning.
  • Apprenticeship programme co-ordination and provider liaison.

There will also be an element of project work involved in this role for new initiatives that arise in both L&D and HR Support (Compensation & Benefits, Employee Engagement, HR Analytics and Policies & Procedures).  This will give the individual a wide overview of all HR Support and L&D aspects of the business.

Specific Requirements for Learning & Development Coordinator:

Education:

  • Relevant Degree qualification desirable but not essential.
  • Administration / Coordination experience or equivalent qualification.

Experience:

  • Ability to manage and prioritise workload to meet the demands of the organisation.
  • Experience in using MS Office software in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral with the ability to work with a variety of people and teams across the organisation.
