3rd Officer (Cruise) – Worldwide – German Speaking

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional 3rd Officer to join our client’s expanding fleet of Cruise Vessels on a permanent basis.

We are looking for the right individual to strengthen and complement their team on board.

Your tasks:

• Navigation and Watch Keeping Officer
• Overview of the navigational progress of the voyage and some specifics like current location, speed etc
• Familiarization with voyage plan and Master’s orders
• Participates in mooring and anchoring operations as well as monitors tender operations
• Assists in the supervision and maintenance of all life saving devices, such as lifeboats, life rafts, life rings, launching appliances, pilot ladders and rescue boats
• Assists in the organization of safety training inductions of the newly joined crew and monitors attendance at safety drills.

Your profile:

• Unlimited Officer of the Watch license plus all required STCW certificates.
• Diploma from an accredited maritime training school or facility.
• Good knowledge of the applicable codes, guidelines and standards.
• Good administration skills and ability to prioritize.
• Fluent German language.

Salary & Conditions

• Salary – to be discussed upon application
• Rotation approx. 3 months on/3 months off
• Start date – ASAP
