Business Development Manager (Offshore) – Greece – Permanent – Competitive Salary

An opportunity has arisen with a leading maritime classification society for a Business Development Manager to join their busy team in Piraeus. The company is a global firm committed to setting standards for safety and excellence as one of the world’s leading classification organizations. In a constantly evolving industry, the company works alongside its partners tackling the most pressing technical, operational and regulatory challenges so the marine and offshore industries can operate safely, securely and responsibly.

As a Business Development Manager for Offshore you will manage the Southern Europe region, including Turkey, Cyprus & Israel. You will plan and lead marketing and business development activities across the operational business, ensuring key objectives in the business plan are met. The activities will be in line with the global strategy and tailored to local markets. You will work in conjunction with business development teams across the EMEA region (including the Sustainability and Digital/Cyber teams) and you will likely travel 25-30% of the time to meet with these teams. Overall the role will involve travel 75% of the time.

• The ability to convert sales/cross sell opportunities into sustainable revenue
• Build strong connections within the business and with our clients
• Ability to tailor the companies solutions to complex client requirements
• Expertise in the offshore market
