Job Description as Electrical Work Prep with Stork:
To provide onshore electrical support to offshore NUI Operations & Maintenance teams on a wide variety of maintenance related issues associated with the repair and maintenance of offshore plant and equipment to ensuring maximum plant and process equipment availability. Work closely within Maintenance Preparation team to ensure high quality 'First Time Right' work pack preparation is delivered to the walk to work execution teams.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Electrical Work Prep:
- Ensuring the safe and reliable maintenance of all NUI Asset electrical equipment
- Accountable for safety of self and others in the work environment
- Analysis and rectification of electrical problems and issues
- Ensuring that the maintenance of electrical equipment is conducted in a safe and effective manner
- Preparation of work in line with requested compliance to achieve integrity
- Ensure all maintenance is undertaken with the highest regard to SHEQ issues
- Comply with all statutory and legislative requirements
- Monitor and control budgets associated with discipline maintenance activities
- Liaise with repair contractors, manufacturers, vendors etc., as necessary
- Develop a pro-active attitude aimed at a decrease of reactive tasks
- Discuss, review outstanding work order status to optimise & reduce backlog
- Ensure integrity of data held in maintenance support system SAP is accurate
- Prepare the purchasing requisitions and/or call off materials
- Occasional offshore trips maybe required to support execution teams via walk to work vessels
- Participate & play a key role in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Specific Requirements for Electrical Work Prep:
- Time served Electrical Engineer with extensive offshore experience & valid COMPEX certificate
- HNC desirable (although not essential)
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft package & CMMS (preferably SAP)
- Experience in 'Lean' methodology
- BOSIET Certification & valid offshore medical
