Installation and Assets Superintendent
Navis Consulting have a requirement for an Installation and assets superintendent that specializes in Submarine System Projects.
The Installation assets superintendent role covers two main functions, Marine Asset Engineer and Operation Superintendent in the offshore installation sites.

The job role includes, but is not limited to:

  • Preparation of the vessel and equipment mobilization documentation
  • mainly including:
    • mobilization procedures
    • review external consultant calculations, drawings, plans, according to need, in order to support, better present, justify the technical solutions
    • time schedules of mobilization works

o risk assessments for mobilization activities

  • Mobilization budget preparation and cost control.
  • Define, select, prepare installation assets (vessels, burial machines, general installation equipment), dealing with subcontractors and yards

– Preliminary works, such as route clearance, PLGR, pre-lay burial runs, mobilization of vessels

  • Cable loading
  • Cable laying
  • Cable burial with a wide variety of tools/machines
  • Cable pulling through HDD conduits or onto offshore platforms
  • Cable repair and jointing on site, duties and responsibilities of the Superintendent in the operative execution of cable installation works
