Job description

Job Description as Assembler with Stork:

To work as part of the wider Assembly team assembling a range of products.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Assembler:

Assemble the full range of Cooperheat equipment products

  • Assemble insulation mats;
  • Assemble heaters;
  • Assemble cables;
  • Assemble any other product as directed by Production Manager.

Ensure quality and quantity of output meets agreed targets

  • Minimises waste of consumables;
  • Communicates with colleagues and management on work progress and deadline achievement;
  • Accurately completes routine timesheets;
  • Plans own time effectively to ensure productivity and efficiency.

Create a safe and compliant working environment

  • Takes ownership and responsibility for own behaviour and working environment in line with HSEQ policy and procedure;
  • Ensure self-compliance with all company and statutory procedures and standards including any defined recording and reporting requirements;
  • Maintains good housekeeping standards at all times;
  • Report any non-compliance, unsafe act or environment to Supervisor / line manager.

Remains flexible to the needs of the business

  • Undertakes reasonable ad-hoc or routine duties as directed by line manager.

Specific Requirements for Assembler:

Education

  • Educated to basic reading and arithmetic standard

Experience

  • Able to follow basic instruction
  • Basic manual dexterity
