Technical Superintendent – Cruise

Working with a leading cruise company who are based in London, UK and due to the companies excellent growth they are now seeking an Technical Superintendent.

In the role of Technical Superintendent you will be responsible for the technical overview of the vessel which includes but not limited to:

• You will organise dry dock of your select vessels
• Plan machinery maintenance outside of technical services
• Carry out vessel visits to carry out inspections of the vessels to make sure that they are being kept up to company guidelines
• Ensure costs for the vessel are kept within the budget

For this position the company are seeking the following background:

• Bachelors / Masters degree in Engineering
• Good experience with Wartsila engines
• Sailed in the role of Engineer – Chief Engineer is desirable on cruise
• Shore based experience is essential
