Job Description as BA Technician with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, whilst implementing departmental procedures in line with Company standards.

Tasks and Responsibilities as BA Technician:

Equipment

  • Develop, implement and maintain procedures for the servicing and maintenance of Stork owned BA and gas detection equipment.
  • Ensuring that equipment maintenance is carried out in accordance with Stork procedures, quality requirements and manufacturers guidelines.
  • Recommend the disposal of equipment which is no longer cost effective to repair.
  • Highlight potential equipment and spares shortages in advance to avoid stock-outs.
  • Assist with 3rd party inspection of owned and rented equipment.
  • Assist in the review of equipment returns and highlight instances of abuse and neglect.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all plant & equipment is calibrated, function tested and fully operational prior to dispatch.

Records

  • Responsible for assisting in the management and accuracy of plant records and stock levels
  • Maintain stock levels

HSEQ

  • Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
  • Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
  • Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
  • Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard.
  • Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job.

Specific Requirements for BA Technician:

Education

  • A good level of Secondary Education or experience commensurate with the role and have demonstrated an appropriate level of technical competence.

Experience

  • Basic level of work experience required.
