Job Description as Travel Coordinator with Stork:
To deliver key project variables related to all aspects of travel management. Ensuring that the Global Travel Department leads and supports the corporate business objectives in line with company standards.
Tasks and Responsibilities as Travel Coordinator:
Trip Booking
- Liaising with Stork travellers to determine travel arrangements needed
- Working closely with the Travel Management Company to organise flights, hotels, ferries and car hire reservations ensuring the best route and quote is taken
- Organising point to point travel via an online booking tool
- Issuing purchase order numbers via Open Logistics for all travel bookings
Traveler Requirements
- Advising visa requirements prior to travel and processing applications
- Assist and process passport applications
- Advising vaccination requirements prior to travel and arranging relevant appointments
- Ensuring all travellers have relevant insurance in place prior to travel
Trip Risk Management
- Ensuring risk assessments are completed prior to travel when travelling to a country with a risk assessment of high or above
- Advising travellers of the security and safety situation at the country of destination
- Issuing travellers with in country guides as and when required
- Review and approve supplier invoices.
Trip Itineraries
- Issuing in depth itineraries to all travellers
- Advising travellers of meet and greet information when required
On Call Support
- Be available when necessary for 24/7 emergency on call support
HSEQ
- Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
- Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
- Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
- Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard.
- Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job.

Specific Requirements for Travel Coordinator:
Education
- Standard Grade English
Experience
- Experience of MS Word, Excel and Outlook
- Corporate or Business Travel Background
- Use of online booking tools
- Excellent administration skills
