Job Description as Inspection Services Technical Manager with Stork:

Establish and maintain the Company’s Inspection department Written Practice.
Responsible for the training, qualification and certification of ANDT / CNDT Level-1 & Level-2 personnel.
Develop and approve general and job specific ANDT / CNDT and Radiation safety procedures.
Assist in all technical issues faced by ANDT / CNDT operations and face external audits on our ANDT / CNDT operations.

Tasks and Responsibilities as Inspection Services Technical Manager:

Responsibilities and Deliverables

Overall responsibility for the Technical delivery of projects.
Assists in technical evaluation of bids and costing.
Responsible for client integration and communications that allow for additonal project tendering and prospecting.
Develop and maintain the written practice – company’s quaification & certification document.
Responsible for the Training, Qualification and Certification of ANDT & CNDT personnel as per the written practice.
Developing and approving ANDT / CNDT work procedures, meeting general and specific job requirements.
Develop the radiation safety operations and emergency procedures, being the approved and certified Radiation Safety Officer from both the government and major client like Saudi Aramco.
Train all RT technicians in radiation safety and advise other assistant RSOs in radiation safety matters.
Responsible to face external technical audits on our ANDT / CNDT operations.
Part of the internal audit team to ensure compliance to our HSSEQ manual.

Maintaining Technical Abilities

Guide and monitor ANDT / CNDT activities in accordance with Company procedures, client’s specification and international codes of practice.
Responsible to demonstrate all ANDT / CNDT activities (operational) at the site to ensure that the ANDT / CNDT work under the applicable scope is approved and accepted by the Owner entity or International bodies like ASME.
Adept in change management – to revise procedures as per new codes / standards editons as and when they are issued.
To review and evaluate  test reports prepared by the Level-2 personnel for correctness and compliance to applicable procedures.
Update all ANDT / CNDT procedures to the latest applicable interational standards and codes.
Maintain ANDT / CNDT personnel’s certification check list.
Capable to guide Level-2 personnel on Data Analysis.
Contributes opportunities to improve project management by providing positive suggesions.
To be fully conversant to effectively Communication with the clients.
Experienced in preparing ANDT / CNDT procedures based on international standards and codes and as well as  drawings and specifications issued by the client.

Flexible to customer and business questions, suggest alternatives.
Achieves excellent results with project teams in technical deliverables.
Assist RSO Team in JSA and appraise the client on the same.

Specific Requirements for Inspection Services Technical Manager:

  • Experience in advance inspection services holding valid PCN level 3 certificate in TOFD & PA.
  • Minimum 5 TO 10 years’ experience in Inspection Services.
  • Engineering degree holder.
  • Position is based in Jubail, KSA.

Safety

  • Has an exemplary role regarding monitoring of safety and environmental instructions, guidelines and policies (both orally and in writing is made) of Stork and if necessary, customer / location.
  • Responsible for implementing the Radiation Safety requirements as per Stork and Owner / National Regulatory requirements with the RSO Team.
  • Takes responsibility regarding compliance with safety and environmental rules by the team.
  • Review and advise the RSO team on safety and security of radioactive material.
  • Assist RSO team in monitoring effective implementation of radiation safety requirements at site.
  • Taking initiatives to continue the safety performance of the RSO team and all NDT personnel.
