Fleet Control Manager (Passenger) – Permanent – London – £50k plus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join an expanding ferry operator based in London.

The main purpose of this role is to manage the fleet control room operations and the line management of a team of 9 people.

Responsibilities include:

• Direct, optimize and coordinate the day to day activities of the fleet, focusing on service, delivery and punctuality
• To guide, train and develop all control room operators n the delivery of an effective & efficient control room service
• Ensure fleet resourcing plan and in line with financial budgets
• Ensure that the fleet control team provide real time information to passengers, operational employees and to other stakeholders
• Work with the fleet operations management and sales team to ensure the vessels are adequately staffed
• Ensure that fleet control comply with the company’s safety management system

Experience required:

• Previous experience managing a control room with a logistics or transport background
• Excellent management skills and a capability of promoting and delivering continuous individual and team development
• Analytical and an extremely organised approach
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Thrive in a busy environment and maintain patience and empathy even when working under pressure
• Must have right to live and work in the UK
