QHSE Advisor (Offshore) – Aberdeen

QHSE Advisor – Permanent – Aberdeen – £35k – £40k plus benefits

This is an excellent opportunity to join a reputable offshore shipping company based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities include:

• You will be QHSE focal point for the allocated fleet.
• Act as the HSEQ liaison between the vessel and shore based departments such as crewing and the technical department
• Carrying out in-house training with crew members;
• Review vessel HSSE reports submitted and provide feedback to each vessel including where applicable suggesting solutions / improvements;
• Act as Team Lead in incident investigations
• Be fully conversant with existing and new legislation, codes of practice and industry guidance affecting operations and have input into change of policies and procedures as necessary.
• Be client facing for HSEQ related topics

Experience Required:

• Extensive HSEQ experience in a ship management or ship owning company.
• Experience in incident investigation including root cause analysis
• Customer focused with the ability to understand and meet the Client’s needs
• Understanding of Marine legislation
• Knowledge of offshore vessel operations
