Procurement Director – Maritime

The company are a leading ship management company with offices internationally. The company due to there continued sucess are now seeking a Procurement Director.

For the role you will ensure that all international freight consignments are consolidated where possible and financial savings can be made where possible. You will work closely with internal teams in the business as well as speaking with external shipowners, suppliers, ship managers and marine sales companies. You will be able to develop and communicate a business plan to establish and communicate the companies long term goals as well as being able to implement procurement-related training programs for the procurement team and organization

The company are seeking the following person to show or have the below:

• Hold a degree in procurement or similar
• Strong managerial experience
• Marines sales (Desirable)
• Worked with ship owners and ship management (advantageous)
• Financial acumen
