Vessel Operator (Tankers) – Permanent – London – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join an International shipping company based in the centre of London

In this role you will be involved in the day to day Tanker operational management.

Responsibilities include:

• Operations of time charter in / time charter out of Tankers
• Monitor and check letter of indemnities, vessels positions, cargo stowage & condition, follow vessel performance
• Communication with vessel Masters, Charterers & Ship Managers
• Liaison on technical aspects e.g. Bunkers, Dry-docking, Marine incidents
• Instructing vessel’ masters despatching voyage orders, instructing agents and well as coordinating berthing schedule
• Check and arrange remittances on charter hire, brokerage, insurances, ship management fees

Experience Required:

• Minimum 4 years in an operational role with tankers
• Knowledge in the management systems, electronic or otherwise
• Have been on a bills of lading course or law of carriage of goods or similar
• Sea going experience is a benefit but not compulsory
