Senior Vessel Operations

We are currently looking for an experienced Dry Bulk Vessel Operator to join our clients business in one of their offices based in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

Our client is a Dry Cargo Market Leader established over 30+ years ago and have presence located in 60 countries around the world. They have a wealth of success and experience when it comes to farming, trading, processing and  the operations of their produce. 

You Will Be Responsible For:

• Managing the vessels operations of both voyage and time-chartered vessels.
• Strong daily communication with the Chartering & In-House Execution Team
• Hire/freight payments, Laytime calculation etc.
• Liaise with other operational team members globally
• Ongoing voyage/performance analysis of all business areas.
• Reporting matters such as Performance/compliance/bunker procurement/ legal-insurance matters

The Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years experience in dry bulk vessel operations
• Experience of handling grains on Panamax/Ultrmax carriers
• Experienced with Softmar + Mark5 is highly desirable
• You must be Fluent in English (written/verbal)
• High organisational and strategic thinking skills
