Job description

The FM Painting Supervisor is required to  perform all required discipline tasks, safely, consistently and in accordance with project requirements, procedures and specifications. Read, understand and implement all applicable company / project policies, working practices and procedures, ensuring at all times that the work scope is completed safely and to a high standard.

Complete all work scope in accordance with applicable work pack / job card instructions, associated procedures and drawings / sketches

Ability to supervise work activities and to demonstrate a high level of understanding of HSE safe working practises, procedures and their implementation. Should also be able to supervise efficient use of resources and maintain record keeping systems.

Apply commitment and motivation with an enthusiasm to being part of a team. The ability to develop multi-task skill levels. These skills based not only on strong traditional hands-on technical abilities, but on the development, review and implementation of performance and efficiency measures including equipment and worksite activity.

  • To support overall delivery of company goals and schedule.
  • To ensure all that all work scope is completed in a safe manner ensuring no detrimental impact to personnel, fabric or environment

  • BOSIET/FOET

  • OPITO – Blaster/Sprayer Competence Assessment L2, or equivalent
  • Bristle Blaster Training
  • WDOS & StorkVac
  • Stork Coatings Supervisor Course (including QA/QC)
  • Stork Air Purity Analyser & ALG10 Practical & Theory
  • Compressor Training – all types
  • NACE CIP Level 1
  • 3M 4255
  • Alpha Solway 3030 Facefit
  • Skills screen (Surface Coating supervisor specific)
  • COSHH Training Course

Optional

If Rope Access level 1 or 2 then must have:

  • IRATA Rope Access Level 1
  • Experience on ropes within the last 6 months (evidence – IRATA log book)

If Rope Access level 3 then must have:

  • Level 1 & 2 requirements
  • Task Based Risk Assessment
  • Approved First Aid
  • Portable anchor awareness (eg – Iron Wing Awareness)
