QHSE Co-ordinator – Permanent – Aberdeen – Competitive package

This is an excellent opportunity to join an International company based in Aberdeen

The QHSE Co-ordinator works within the Ship Management Team and reports directly to the QHSE Manager and acts on his behalf on all quality, health, safety and environmental related matters.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensures appropriate training, coaching and monitoring on safety aspects of all vessel crews and office staff to meet regulations and improve safety awareness;
• Performs any other specific responsibilities and tasks assigned to him by the Management.
• Provides cover for the QHSE Manager within the Emergency Response Team role and co-ordinates the research team in the event of incidents involving a high risk of injury and/or damage;

Experience Required;

• Hold excellent knowledge of Safety & QA systems
• Previous work experience in the marine industry, preferably offshore
• Hold a valid NEBOSH certificate
• Have working knowledge of ISM & DPA responsibilities
• Sailing experience on Offshore Vessels (highly desirable)
