Technical Superintendent (Inland Barge)

An opportunity has arisen with an established Shipping Company who are looking for an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their team in Germany

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

– Managing the Technical budgets and monitoring all operating costs.

– Inspecting and reporting on vessel’s condition, performance, operational and safety standards.

– Vetting and approval of ship’s stores and spare gear requisitions.

– Preparing, supervising, documenting and following-up on dry-docking.

To be selected for the role, candidates will have sailed as a engineer and have good experience with inland waterways. No shore based experience is necessary for this role.
