Job Description Quality Manager with Stork:

To provide leadership to a professional team, implement and execute Quality and Assurance strategy from both a global and regional perspective; support and advise business areas to deliver improved compliance and performance, in line with legislative, company and client expectations

Tasks And Responsibilities As Quality Manager:

Health & Safety

  • Supporting Corporate HSSEQ Objectives (REACH).
  • Support Service and Contract Delivery in:
    • Investigations into Non Conformances, Customer Complaints and Quality Management matters
    • Support the business lines in their responsibility for maintenance and improvement of Management System Documentation
    • Drive Continuous Improvement with business through oversight of IMS and relevant content

Operational Support

  • Provide guidance and coaching on Quality and Assurance aspects pertinent to business area.
  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of legislation and international standards in area of responsibility.

People

  • Implement and manage people performance, including P&D, Talent Review and Succession Planning
  • Ensure that all Quality and Assurance personnel are managed in accordance within Stork Policies and Procedures and possess the prerequisite skills and competence to perform their role safely and effectively.
  • Review the performance, conduct & capability of personnel
  • Identify, recruit and evaluate team composition in relation to both Stork’s and the Clients’ expectations.

Quality

  • Delivery of relevant Quality and Assurance plans, internal and external.
  • Responsibility for maintaining of safety and environmental legal registers.
  • Responsible for relevant systems for continuous improvement, including measurement and performance management of assurance metrics
  • Subject Matter Expert for ISO and associated accreditations
  • Responsible for maintaining ISO and associated accreditations

Audit

  • Develop and maintain relationships with LRQA in respect of ISO certification and surveillance Manage Stork’s internal and external audit programmes
  • Oversee audits with Clients and other body’s such as FPAL/LRQA
  • Liaison with clients and other bodies during HSE Audits

Customer Relations

  • Liaise with key stakeholders to produce Quality and Assurance performance metrics relevant to Operations/Project/Corporate requirements
  • Liaise with customers to develop and produce project/contract specific quality and assurance requirements
  • Attend customer meetings in relation to Quality and Assurance issues.

Specific Requirements For Quality Manager:

Education / Training

  • University Degree in relevant subject
  • Previous experience in Quality Advisor’s role
  • Lead Auditor qualification
  • Incident Investigation
  • Root Cause Analysis
  • Membership of IOSH or IIRSM (desirable)
  • NEBOSH Diploma

Experience

  • Significant level of experience, understanding and interpretation of UK Health and Safety legislation and International Management Standards, specifically: ISO9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, OHSAS 18001.
  • Experience of implementing and maintaining ISO/IEC17020:2012 accreditation
