Senior Marine Electronics Engineer

Senior Marine Electronics Engineer (Yachts) – Southampton – Permanent- £30’000 – £40’000

A client of ours that design, implement and maintain end-to-end marine electronic solutions for Superyachts and Ocean Racers are looking to hire an experienced Senior Marine Electronics Engineer.

The role will require you to lead projects throughout the entire process, from the initial design phase through to final installations. The majorty of the projects will consist of Refits, Upgrade Works and Custom Designs for new build Yachts and Racing Boats.

You will lead a team of Engineers through the workshop preparation and onsite installation, and you will provide ongoing remote and dockside support to the client following project completion.

This position will include a lot of travel as some of the work will be with international clients in Europe, The USA and The Carribbean.

Personal Requirements;

You will need to have a track record of Project Management as well as a good knowledge of some main electronics brands. Such as B&G, faro, Sailmon, Garmin and Raymarine. Experience in using AutoCAD would also be very beneficial.
