1st Engineer (Cruise) – Worldwide – German Speaking

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional 1st Engineer to join our client’s expanding fleet of Cruise Vessels on a permanent basis.

We are looking for the right individual to strengthen and complement their team on board.

Your profile:

• Graduate of a maritime school is a must
• Experience in rank on passengers’ vessels
• Certificate of Competency IMO III/2
• Fluent German language skills
• Good written, spoken and technical English

Your tasks:

• Watch keeping on the Engine Room for the safe conduction of ship operations
• Attending landing and departure manoeuvring
• Ensuring that all technical equipment is in proper working condition
• Update Logbooks and official documents
• Plan and carry out maintenance work
• Requisitions and inventory checking

Salary & Conditions

• Salary – Very Competitive
• Rotation approx. 3 months on/3 months off
• Start date – ASAP
