Captain/Master (Tug) – UK

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional Captain/Masters to join our client’s fleet of Tugs on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will hold the following qualifications:

• Tier 1, Level 2 Boatmasters’ Licence
• Maintaining appropriate paperwork with respect to operational requirements, Safety Management Systems and the ISM Code
• Towing & Pushing
• Current ML5 Medical or ENG 1
• Sea Survival
• Fulfilling Health & Safety responsibilities in accordance with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy Statement
• Fire Fighting
• First Aid
• VHF qualification
• Underpinning knowledge of safety management systems and the ISM Code adhering to the operational requirements of PLA, MMO and MCA
• Complying with Company Policies and Procedures.
• Attending all training relevant to the role and operational requirements

We are looking for a captain to work one week on/off shift patterns, living on board the boat.
