Primarily tasked with loading/unloading trucks, communication of priority material deliveries, filling order requirements and assist in traffic control during lifts & unloading trucks.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Processing inbound materials and putting them away either to stock locations or WIP Staging.
• Pulling orders for WIP staging.
• Unloading inbound materials, validating the delivery against the purchasing document.
• Traffic control during lifts, truck unloading and forklift movements.
• Operate designated forklifts, pallet jacks or other material handling equipment (having been first certified as an operator) as directed by the Material Specialist.
• Ability (and to be certified on) to operate medium to large forklifts ranging from 5000k to 75000k.
• Unload/load trucks using cranes and/or lift attachments for items that are large and bulky.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of two years' experience in handling of pipe and pipe fittings.
• Inventory Control experience and pipe fabrication is desired.
• Ability to repeatedly lift 50 pounds in a safe & proper manner.
• Forklift experience, will be tested & certified in house.

Must be able to read & write English, understand pipe drawings and specifications.
