2nd Engineer (Bulk Carrier) – Canada

Navis Consulting are currently looking for an exceptional 2nd Engineer to join our client’s fleet of Bulk Carriers serving Canada’s Eastern and Western Arctic for a 3-month contract.

Applicants will ideally have:

• Mandatory: Certificate of competency as second-class engineer motor without restriction
• Marine medical certificate
• Certificate of proficiency: advanced firefighting, survival crafts and rescue boats other than fast rescue boats, marine first aid
• Excellent leadership and supervision skill
• Excellent analytical skills, troubleshooting and problem solving
• Good capacity to work under pressure

Salary & Conditions:

• Starting Date: As soon as possible till mid-November
• Full-time position / seasonal
• Competitive salary and benefits
• Work schedule depends on ship needs
• Flights and all expenses paid
