Technical Superintendent - Work Boat

Grapefruit Recruitment is looking for a Technical Operations Manager to manage the operation of our Clients fleet, ensuring the safe and effective operation of its vessels and assets. To plan and execute repairs and maintenance in a cost-effective way and to ensure that the ships are crewed for the operational environment in which they work.

Reporting to the Managing Director the successful candidate will be responsible for day to day operations of the fleet, preparing, budgeting and attending dry docks, planned maintenance and the reporting of such.

Ensure conformity and compliance to ISM code and Marine Regulations, Health and Safety and Environmental policies, throughout the fleet and Company premises for both seagoing and shore based personnel.

To apply for this role, candidates are required to have held a minimum Class II Engineers COC, to have had previous on board operational engineering experience, experience in ship repairs, dry docks and project management and some onshore experience would be advantageous.

This role requires good managerial, finance and communication skills and candidates must be able to demonstrate their commitment to drive innovation within the Company.
