Environmental Trainer (Maritime)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

As an Instructor, you are an integral part of the Training team. Key responsibilities as a member of the environmental compliance team include:

• Delivering training to ship-board staff, both at classroom and while on ship visits
• Developing courses, incorporating all relevant environmental policies and procedures
• Maintaining current environmental awareness and foster a culture of commitment in our global environmental mission
• Ship visits, at least 6 per year.

REQUIREMENTS & EXPERIENCE

• 5 years cumulative sea service experience in the role of Environmental Officer/Marine Engineering Officer
• Hold a minimum level of Marine Engineering STCW III/2 Certificate of Competency (Class 2)
• Experience in a teaching/instructing role would be an asset

SKILLS

• MS Office skills
• Strong Interpersonal skills
• English must be fluent
