Public Area Attendant (Cruise Ship) - $competitive per month on board

ARM is seeking candidates for Public Area Attendant positions on board some of the most prestigious cruise ships travelling the world.

Whilst being  responsible for ensuring public areas remain clean and in orderly condition, the main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Report to workstation on time and properly groomed and dressed as per company policy.
• Operate steam cleaning equipment, scrapers, brooms, and a variety of hand and power tools, along with a variety of cleaning agents and chemicals.
• Cleans public bathrooms, elevators, offices, corridors, public areas and crew member quarters.
• Cleans carpet. Upholstery, floors, walls, ceilings, draperies, windows, and room accessories.
• Maintains cleaning supplies and equipment in good working order.
• Assist food service personnel in the collection of soiled glasses, china, cutlery etc.
• Participates in the loading of guest stores to the central storeroom.
• Make sure that wet floors are constantly mopped/dried.
• Cleans and sanitizes pool area and spa showerheads on a monthly schedule. 
• Children’s swimming pool life jackets should be monitored, cleaned and sanitized on a daily basis.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Minimum of 1 years cleaning experience, preferably in a 4-5 star hotel.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, requirements and use of equipment.
• Knowledge of proper chemical handling.
• Completion of high school/basic education.
