Assistant Waiter (Cruise Ship) - $competitive per month on board + Gratuities

ARM is seeking candidates for Assistant Waiter positions on board some of the most prestigious cruise ships travelling the world.

Whilst being engaged in providing courteous and professional service the main responsibilities of the role will include:

• Arrange settings on tables
• Obtain linen, silverware, glassware and china to set tables
• Greets and escorts guests to their assigned seats
• Present Food and Beverage menus to guests, suggest dinner courses and appropriate wines and answer questions regarding menu items.
• Participate in rotational service delivery schedule, working in casual and formal dining services.
• Learns and uses appropriate food and wine terminology and pronunciation to enhance guest's dining experience.
• Participate in dining room entertainment as directed.
• Enters food and beverage orders in the point of sale system.

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following requirements:

• Two to three years previous waiter experience preferably in a 4 or 5 star restaurant
• Ability to perform basic math functions with regard to meal count procedures.
• Completion of high school/basic education
• Further to demonstrating a high level of English language skills, the ability to speak additional languages such as Spanish, French, German, Italian, or Portuguese is desired.
