Senior Cargo Surveyor (Marine Insurance) – UK – Permanent – Negotiable salary DoE

A global provider of insurance claims management services are looking for a Senior Cargo Surveyor to help manage their growing team of UK based Cargo Surveyors.

Although a Senior member within the Surveying team, you will still be expected to be in the field conducting cargo surveys on behalf of the company’s clients as well as being a supporting figure for some of the Junior Surveyors and handling management duties.

Applicants will need to have direct experience of conducting marine cargo surveys. The position will require flexibility to travel regularly and at short notice. Due to the nature of the work many of the Cargo Surveying team work from home due to the regular travel however the company has offices all over the UK should you chose to be office based when you are not travelling.

This opportunity presents great long-term prospects as the company are currently looking at succession planning for the Senior Management team.
