Technical Superintendent (LPG) – Permanent – London – Excellent package

This is an excellent opportunity to join an International Shipping company who are experiencing an exciting period of expansion.

The Technical Superintendent will report directly to the Fleet Manager based in London and will work closely with other parts of the Technical team (HSEQA, Crewing, Procurement)

Responsibilities Include:

• Daily supervision of in-house managed vessels and owned vessels under 3rdparty management with respect to operations, reliability, OPEX and onboard inspections.
• Anticipate and drive safe and flawless performance of assigned vessels
• Development of vessel-operating budgets
• Working on longer-term projects for example planned maintenance systems and capital projects; Dry Docks and major repairs
• Providing support in all aspects of ship operations

Experience / Qualifications Required;

Essential

• 3+ years at sea as Chief Engineer on LPG/LEG tankers
• Must be eligible to work in the UK

Desirable

• Shore experience managing LPG tankers
• Ethylene experience
• Semi-ref experience
