Job Description NDT Inspection Technician with Stork:

To support in the overall delivery of the Group’s business objectives, by providing high standards of inspection execution to the STS Client base. Responsible for carrying out non-destructive examination works utilizing the required techniques in accordance with relevant company and or client supplied procedures / acceptance criteria. This includes both onshore and offshore work locations for various teams within the department. EG Caisson Inspection / Advanced NDT

Tasks And Responsibilities As NDT Inspection Technician:

Testing

• Carrying out the Non Destructive Testing (NDT) in accordance with relevant regulations / legislation and approved company procedures.
• Performing NDT techniques in accordance with relevant specifications and company procedure.
• Interpret and evaluate results according to applicable standards, codes or specifications.
• Carry out and supervise all tasks at or below level 2.
• Supporting and liaising with the clients.
• Carrying out duties relating to Caisson Inspection scopes (onshore and offshore). Including data collection, reporting, maintenance of tooling, development of personnel skills and systems of work relating to tooling efficiencies.
• Responsible for participating in the development of a positive culture and working environment that motivates fellow staff to produce highest possible standard of quality and professionalism throughout all aspects of department.

HSEQ

• Attend & contribute to health and safety training and briefs.
• Assist in maintaining own and others’ health and safety.
• Contribute to a culture of HSEQ improvement.
• Support quality, efficiency and customer satisfaction.
• Execute work safely and reliably and to a quality standard.
• Ensure you are adequately trained to carry out the job.

Reporting

• Completing inspection reports.
• Compile accurate reports compliant with the appropriate standards and specifications.
• Provide information on risks and mitigation actions in general, and specifically with regards to occupational health.

Specific Requirements For NDT Inspection Technician:

Education

Essential

• Has recognised qualification
• Can provide documentary evidence of completion of training and minimum on-the job experience, in level 2 standards in accordance with Storks Company written practice 14.0-PR-028.

Desirable

• PCN Qualification in at least 2 NDT techniques.
• Qualified or working towards an HND/Degree in a relevant field

Experience

Essential

• Experience in a similar role within the oil and gas industry / energy sector.
• Relevant industry experience

Desirable

• Practical experience of NDT methods.
• Knowledge of range of services Stork does and can provide to the client.
• Knowledge of Integrity / Inspection services to the oil and gas / energy sector.
• Offshore experience.
• Experience in Microsoft Word and Excel would be an advantage

Additional Requirements

• Offshore travel as required
