Senior Manager – Dry Dock Planning (Cruise) – Permanent – Miami, US - $Excellent Package
A leading Cruise organisation with an international presence, is currently recruiting for a Senior Manager – Dry Dock Planning to join the team in their Headquarters in Miami.
This role is responsible for the planning, budgeting and scheduling of the dry-docks of the assigned vessels and providing oversight to maximize the effective use of resources, space, equipment and time for multiple project teams.
Other duties include;
- Developing, implementing and maintaining dry-dock systems, policies, tools and procedures.
- Leading and directing the work of the team, evaluating performance, providing coaching and training to direct reports and making employment decisions.
- Responsible for implementing and monitoring planning processes for hundreds projects each with their own timelines, budget, logistics, and project teams.
- Formalizing dry-dock contracts with the yard and overseeing dry-dock execution (if necessary) to ensure successful delivery.
- Ensuring compliance with industry policies, procedures, practices and regulatory codes.
- Reviewing business case, developing technical execution plans and following up on the list of new projects and vessels to be equipped.
The successful candidate will have experience of leading pre-planning, execution and post wrap-up processing of 4-5 dry docks a year.
You will have a proven track-record of working on multiple dry-docks for large vessels, be comfortable with large and complex projects and have previous Project Management experience in the Maritime industry.
The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s Degree in a Maritime related subject or Naval Architecture.
*Due to travel restrictions, you must have the right to live and work in the US, Canada or Australia to be considered for this positon*.

All applicants must have previous experience in working on ships.
Language Requirements
Good knowledge of the English language is required.
Certificates and Qualifications
Mandatory STCW certificates are required from all applicants.
