Ships Agent (port agency) – Permanent – London – Negotiable

Excellent opportunity to join a leading port agency that is looking to expand their London team with an experienced Ships Agent.

Responsibilities include:

• Ensure all port and custom requirements are met at all times.
• Daily contact with third parties as required.
• Co-ordinate the boarding of vessels.
• Updating on vessels progress.
• Handling important documentation.
• Good awareness of local area.

Requirements:

• Experience of working as a ships agent dealing with tanker vessels.
• Must have local port and supply chain knowledge.
• Able to work some nights and weekends when required.
• Must have UK driving licence.
• Flexible and good time management skills.
• Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• A self-motivated attitude.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• An ambition to succeed.

Candidates must have the right to live and work in the UK and should be within a commutable distance to London.
