Technical Superintendent (Tankers) – Hamburg – Permanent - €Competitive

A leading Ship Manager with international offices is currently recruiting for a Technical Superintendent with either Product Tanker or Crude Oil experience to join their office in Hamburg.

Key requirements of this role include (but not limited to);

• Managing vessel budgets and operation expenditure
• Planning, monitoring and managing dry-dockings and major scheduled and un-scheduled repairs
• Carrying out regular vessel visits to confirm condition and compliance with company standards
• Providing timely and accurate reports to Clients and senior management regarding the performance, expenditure and condition of the vessel
• Providing coaching and development plans for Masters and Chief Engineers

To be considered for this position, ideal candidates must have sailed as Chief Engineer on-board Product Tankers or Crude Oil Tankers and have previous shore-based experience as a Technical Superintendent or equivalent.

You must also demonstrate strong communication skills, demonstrate good leadership skills and have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
