2nd Cook Required
I have a fantastic opportunity to join a passenger ferry as a 2nd Cook
The purpose of this role is to assist Chief Cook in all aspects of the galley, including food prep, for brasserie and the crew mess room.
Some of the Key Responsibilities for this role include:
· Ensure all stores are put away correctly and that a stock rotation system is being used at all times
· To be aware of at all times the importance of maintaining a clean working practice and to ensure all sections are thoroughly cleaned after service
· Waste management: to ensure that all waste oil and garbage is disposed of in the correct manner
· To ensure health and hygiene standards within the galley/stores and food servery are maintained to the level of/or exceeding the state Port Health requirements
· The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role and a relevant Food Hygiene certification.
· Will be hardworking, organised and flexible.
Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
Salary: £24,086
Conditions: 2weeks on 2 weeks off
Live in if required
