To lead the oversight, management and co-ordination of all compliance and knowledge management aspects for Stork’s Inspectioneering (UKAS Type C and monitoring solutions) businesses.  Primarily focussed on the following main elements:

Ensuring the business effectiveness of the Asset Integrity (AI) elements of the IMS;
Defining and maintaining the structure and systems required for knowledge and data management within the Inspectioneering business;
Ensuring effective integration and relevance of knowledge, work and data management toolkits with those of our clients;
Ensuring the extent, relevance and structure of the competence programme for all accredited and non-accredited services, plus the introduction of digital competence elements to fulfil the Inspectioneering strategy;
Monitoring and improving the performance and effectiveness of HSEQ activities within the Inspectioneering business;
Being the operational focal point and co-ordinator for all UKAS and ISO assurance activities within Inspectioneering.

Tasks And Responsibilities:

Integrated Management Systems (IMS) Effectiveness:

Assessing the IMS for its content, extent and format to cover the execution of integrity engineering, inspection, NDT, corrosion monitoring and cathodic protection services, and the yet to be established sensor based plant monitoring solution;
Ongoing review and restructuring of AI IMS elements to support effective AI delivery;
Ensure the currency, maintenance and update of the IMS elements to support ongoing ISO17001 compliance;
Oversight of maintenance and organisation of records to demonstrate ongoing IMS compliance.
Maintenance of the inspection, NDT, integrity engineering, corrosion and cathodic protection IMS elements to support ongoing ISO 9001, 14001 & 45001 Compliance;
Maintenance and organisation of compliance records;
Ensure use of the management of change process to ensure change risks are correctly managed;
AI process mapping and workflow development to suit digital work execution & reporting.

Knowledge, Data and Records Management:

Development & maintenance of AI knowledge map and mapping within IMS requirements;
Assist with the planning and execution of the conversion from paper based to digital delivery (including the conversion to digital work-flow, applications and forms);
Identification and selection of AI Knowledge & Data Management platform(s);
Design, implementation and management of system for digital records (photographs, video, records, data files and databases);
Design, set-up and use of SharePoint as a Knowledge Repository for project management of asset integrity projects;
Maintenance and update of asset integrity’s subject matter expert (SME) register as input to Stork knowledge online;
Participation in global knowledge community and knowledge networks relevant to asset integrity product lines;
Oversight of digital records management system compliance;
Work with collaborating companies to ensure Stork remain aware of and utilise market relevant proprietary integrity management software platforms, i.e. Coabis, One, R2S.
 
Internal Audio and Competence Planning:

Work with product-line managers to re-develop competence program for all required AI competencies (including the inclusion of digital competence);
Ensure that there is an adequate competence assessment & re-assessment plan in place according to the program;
Oversight of training & competence program status;
Oversight & expediting of Asset Integrity training program completion;
Oversight and expediting of inspector monitoring program;
Ensuring internal auditor competence and training;
Ensuring readiness for internal and external audit.

Specific Requirements

Education

Essential

  • Relevant tertiary education qualifications e.g. HND, degree or vocational qualifications, equivalent experience commensurate with the role

Desirable

  • Lead auditor qualifications would be an advantage

Experience, Understanding and Knowledge

Essential

  • Experience with management systems specifically covering engineering, inspection, NDT, condition monitoring or other relevant asset integrity disciplines
  • Detailed understanding of ISO17020 and the requirement of UKAS (Type C) accreditation including audit
  • Knowledge of knowledge management, process mapping, work-flow development and the maintenance of an effective integrated management system to meet the requirements of ISO9001, 14001 and 45001

HSEQ Performance Monitoring

Monitoring of overall AI HSEQ & compliance status including:

  • CI status;
  • Competence program status;
  • Reach pledge status;
  • Leadership visit planning and status;
  • Audit preparation and follow-up expediting.
