An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Marine Safety Advisor to join a reputable shipping company based on the South Coast. You will provide direction, support and advice to line management team and ship’s crew regarding all aspects of safety and health.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the team and hold joint responsibility for shaping and developing safety strategy & company culture. It is essential that you are flexible , able to influence at all levels, including contractors to adapt the company safety values and take personal ownership for delivering compliance and the company vision of “zero harm”

The candidate would ideally have NEBOSH and membership of IOSH. You will have gained a clear and credible knowledge within the marine industry.

This role, based in the South, will combine land based activities along with time aboard the vessels.

You MUST have the right to live and work in the UK to be considered.
