Senior Supply Planner is a key function, reporting to Supply Chain Director with a strong experience in Marine or off shore base maintenance & repairs support.

The Supply Planner missions are to:

  • Establish the relevant MRP You are familiar with analytical models and mathematical analysis to determine planning methodology and process to support our supply chain strategy for core business needs. It shall be done by considering the operational needs, spares parts criticality, suppliers capabilities and local storage possibilities;
  • Implement required anticipation tools (manual/automatized) to reduce the supply chain total cost of ownership;
  • Monitor and communicate to internal client the relevant key performance indicator;
  • Determine inventory need, and work jointly with the logistics team to define where to store the goods or alternatives storage needs
  • Monitor and count inventory for stock directly under his control, or monitor a lso jointly with joint entity the storages, warehouses and flew to meet business needs

You will seek out ways to improve the entire supply chain process. The main aim of this endeavor would be to cut costs and prevent supply chain shortage , which may task you with:

  • Analysing lead times and historical vendors/logistics performance data to create MRP schedules, collaborating with maintenance departmenet, operating people on board, and sourcing to ensure streamlined operations.
  • Refreshing the data parameter to insure a dynimic stock calculation, and up date critical items min/max qty to sustain operations
    Scheduling of spares and equipment for the stock replannishment.
  • Developing monitoring tools to ensure stock level tracking hipping or Vendors or repairs providers (reverrse logistics).
  • Interfacing with organizational stakeholders to better understand business goals and revise master schedules as needed

Job Duties/Responsi bilities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Performing work to achieve MRP performance targets focused on inventory reduction, increased inventory turns and improved order-to-delivery results.
  • Deploying visual dashboard and standard work in facilities, and actively supporting facility change management activities as new supply chain processes are deployed.
  • Communicating stock and inventory changes to key change targets, utilizing Change Management processes and utilizing visual elements throughout the value stream, including boards, signage and posted standard work and job aids.
  • Performing tactical, hands-on work with logistics functions, 3rd party providers and facility divisions to drive global lead time improvements.
  • Analyzing value stream spares and consumable internal clients constraints and deploying corrective action jointly with supply chain team
