Junior Bartender

Our Client is a fantastic 6* Cruise Ship that sails all year, across the globe, they offer a fantastic experience and service to their cliental. This position is ready for a dedicated professional that can present and offer that 6* service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for giving directions and on the job training to the Bar Waiters and Deck Stewards
• Ensure that the Bar snack rotation is correct and served properly
• Responsible for preparing the mis en place for the beverage station during tendering service
• Ensure Inventory is conducted according to the SOP
• Responsible for the correct and proper handling of all checks and sales transactions generated in the assigned Bar area
• Responsible for requisitioning all food, beverage, and consumable items for assigned Bar area
• Take ownership of assigned outlet and ensure correct service as well as assisting with other outlets and public areas when possible

Hiring Requirements

• Excellent knowledge of American and International Bar and Wine service as well as an in-depth knowledge of Old and New World Wines, Spirits and Beers
• Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a Bartender / Junior Bartender on an ultra-luxury Cruise Ship, private club, Boutique Hotel, ultra-luxury Hotel/Resort and/or Michelin Star Restaurant
• Wine Certification by a recognized International Institution preferred
• Mixology Certification by a recognized International Institution preferred
• Displays a creative flair with the ability to constantly invent new cocktail recipes and concepts.
• Excellent knowledge of all spirits and beers, their production techniques, flavor profiles and history
• Displays an excellent palette, in terms of recipe building

Salary & conditions

• Compensation: $2656.50 per month + overtime
• Contract: 6/2
• Cabin: Shared (3 per cabin)
